Le Rêve

“A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest.”  – Oscar Wilde

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.”  – T. E. Lawrence

“The most pitiful among men is he who turns his dreams into silver and gold.”  – Khalil Gibran

  1. Lea, this is so heartfelt! I can almost feel your realisation that you are finally home. So good to know you have found contentment. And so glad too that we are friends and I can share some of your pleasure in where you have found home

Merci mon amie! Yes, it sounds strange to almost all who don’t really know me. Yet, I knew it would be HOME before I even visited. When my feelings are that strong, the only error is when I don’t follow them.

  2. Exactly! 🙂 xx

And i received another postcard yesterday! Thank you! 🙂 xx

  3. wow…you’ve been traveling a lot…and so magical if we come somewhere and instinctively know it’s home…

I came here on my own five years ago this month. There was never even a shred of doubt along the way. I love it more each day. France has much to offer but its greatest treasure, the people. Thank you.
