I love it! Light and dark and shadows are fascinating and we have to keep feeling our way through it all. It’s amazing when suddenly everything shines.

I love how we can’t live without light or dark, if we didn’t have the bad times then we wouldn’t know the good ones when they arrived.
An incredibly expressive poem, love the quotes too of course! 🙂 x

  6. What a wonderful poem Lea! I love the “odor of darkness”! Ive never seen it like that before. Ans then the ending! Well, I simply looked at my envelope of sunshine crammed full of wonderful light, all spilling from the beautiful card, which I havent had time to acknowledge fully as all the family have been here for aweek. They have just left and the house feels too empty, but I have my sunshine card. Thank you so much.

    Love

Oh I have! 🙂 It has been Spring here for nearly two weeks and more predicted! 🙂
Darkness does seem to have a bad reputation. There is the darkness of ignorance or abuse but there is also the darkness that allows bulbs and seeds to take root and grow! 🙂

  8. Eileen says:

Yes…the odor of darkness! Yet the memory of light.

    • leamuse says:

Growing up in the darkest of dark, I learned to make friends with it. I know its names, sounds, smells and colors. Yet, I moved into the sunshine and delight in it. However, the night is now an old friend.

  9. Eileen says:

Sign of Hope is a post about my experience with daffodils in a dark dark time……sign of hope and resurrection ……….
