Magical smart phone

“Technology can be our best friend, and technology can also be the biggest party pooper of our lives. It interrupts our own story, interrupts our ability to have a thought or a daydream, to imagine something wonderful, because we’re too busy bridging the walk from the cafeteria back to the office on the cell phone.” – Steven Spielberg

Magical smart phone

Only two apps I think
Invisibility cloak
And time traveling

*

No, I do not have a ‘smart phone’ and am technically challenged. But if I had the above two applications to choose from, I will admit there would be temptation. I would start at The Algonquin Hotel and search out Mrs. Parker and friends then off to visit with Jonathan Swift… Where would such applications take you? What apps would you want or create and where would they take you?

I think I would find warmth in a cloud and travel until I could find heaven to say hi to my sweet son and loving husband.

  2. Very wise words & so very true! Merci et bonne journée Léa!

Merci, truth be told, I prefer making eye contact and am more than willing to write but I’ve never been a fan of the phone… C’est la vie! Bonsoir 😉

  3. An app to stop my children annoying me when I am reading posts? Oh yes they already have iPods, wii, playstation, xboxes and the list goes on and on…..Lea.

  4. I think I would like to be a fly on the wall in Jane Austen’s life, although I think I would rather enjoy a conversation with her 😊 xxx
