My memories of Paris are rolled up in this Lea it is such a beautiful city. I remember watchng jacques Tati movies and being intrugued by everything French.
Kath, I love Tati! Have you ever seen Le ballon rouge? (The Red Balloon). There isn’t a word of dialogue and it doesn’t need it.
Oh sigh. I do so love Paris. My three visits just whetted my appetite for all things Parisian. It really does seem cruel to be flying into Paris and right on to Toulouse. But, this is my husband’s dream trip and he’s has spent days planning every moment in the South of France.
Always enjoy your lovely poetry and could relate to the Casablanca, references, but it did revive all my longing to return to Paris. C’est la vie. At least I have my memories and photos.

“We’ll always have Paris!” I do understand and despite my love of Paris, I wouldn’t want to live anywhere but here. You must be getting excited with you trip coming up very soon.
We are sort of in the middle of crises. My knee surgery went well last week, but my husband is having a lung biopsy tomorrow and my youngest son, father of four, has discovered he needs a pace maker. All our plans are in place with reservations made, but right now I am very glad I took out insurance in case it has to be cancelled. All prayers gratefully appreciated.
Consider yourselves surrounded by a flood of positive thoughts and wishes! An old English saying, ‘All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well.’
Lea, I love that saying by a woman mystic. My best friend, who has lost both her husband and her youngest son, sends that to me. Coming from her I know that it can have true meaning even in suffering. Thanks for reminding me! I love that even as strangers we can reach out and touch one another across oceans and borders with caring. Blessings.

I can understand that. Many of us in Sweden love Hasse & Tage and Monica Zetterlund’s work. They did many songs together that is absolutely brilliant.
You have many National treasures. I also love to listen to Tommy Korberg.
He’s good. He has a summerhouse outside my town. He always have a concert or two in Trosa in the summers.
I found him online and was hooked the first time.
He sings our unofficial anthem Anthem from the musical Chess (Andersson / Ulvaeus / Rice). Many think that it should be our official national anthem. If you have not heard it, do it! The text can all relate to whatever nation they come from.
