“Technological progress has merely provided us with more efficent means for going backwards.” – Aldous Huxley

decay
as a gift
my sons sent me
an apple
it isn’t juicy,
flavourful,
or nutritious
what it is
highly stressful
as with each upgrade
this apple
deteriorates
support services
non existent
unless your are
prepared to pay
what a way to
boost sales
there is more
than one worm
in the orchard
while I implode
at the foot of
el capitan

At least that is how it felt.. 😉 Thank you Eileen.

I use to have the old G4 when it crashed my boys sent me this one. I preferred the old one actually. However, I will admit to be technically challenged. sourires!
😀 good poem
Thank you! Perhaps a wee bit of the frustration leaked through? 🙂 xx
I can totally understand the frustration. I wonder how much poem art technique problems have made indirectly?
It wouldn’t be the first for me! 😉
Very clever Lea! I can relate to your computer issues. Technology is great when it’s working but so stressful when it doesn’t! Hope you get your mac problems sorted soon 🙂 xx
Anger fuels more poems… at least in my case. It is frequently when I feel strongly about something a poem ‘magically’ appears on my laptop? Go figure, it must be the work of the wee folk? 😉 We are on the way and I managed to finally post some photos after months of not being able to. We shall see. 🙂 xx
Glad to hear it! Anger, love, hurt, can all be considered passionate. . . keep writing with all the passion you have Lea 🙂 xx
That’s where they come from, at least for me… 🙂 xx
